E. BaudoinAs part of the events organised by the Science with and for Society label and as part of the Ecological Transitions cross-curricular course, we are showing the film Toucher terre (Touching the Earth), which describes the revival of earth construction in the face of the environmental challenges we face. This film-debate will be led by Martin Paquot (architect, co-founder of the Ile-de-France raw earth collective and the magazine Topophile – https://topophile.net), Flora Marchand (architect, member of the Ile-de-France eco-building federation) and Emmanuel Baudouin (lecturer at the University of Paris Nanterre in the Anthropology department), who will discuss the origins of earthen construction over 11,000 years ago and the challenges of eco-building today.
