Archives de la MSH Mondes- Fonds Jean PerrotThis research seminar, open to all, is dedicated to current work in prehistory and offers a fresh perspective on the diversity of approaches, fields and subjects of study. It highlights research conducted by members of UMR 8068 TEMPS, as well as by guest researchers from French and international laboratories. At each session, a researcher is invited to present ongoing, unpublished research conducted in various chronological and geographical contexts: Europe, Africa, the Near East, Asia, etc. This is an opportunity to discover the results of recent excavations, as well as scientific projects in development (theses, post-doctorates, PCR, ANR, etc.).
Prof. Trevor Watkins (University of Edinburgh) will speak on 4 November 2025: ‘The Epipalaeolithic-Neolithic transformation in southwest Asia: a case study in transformative cultural evolution’.
