Archaeology and historical anthropology of Pacific island societies: nothing new in the west? Aymeric Hermann (CNRS, UMR 8068 TEMPS)
The ‘General Prehistory Seminar – Research news: fields and projects’ aims to present current research to Master’s students. The aim is to give the floor to young and experienced researchers, from within and outside the UMR 8068 TEMPS laboratory, working in different geographical contexts (Europe, Africa, Near East, Asia, Pacific), so that students can discover a representative sample of the fields in which the laboratory is involved. The results of current excavations will be presented, as well as large-scale projects (doctoral projects, PCR, ANR, etc.). Sessions consist of 1 to 1h30 hours of presentation followed by a group discussion at the students’ initiative.
