The Bouyssonie cave is an archaeological site that has been excavated since 2008. It has revealed remains from the entire Upper Palaeolithic period, and in particular from the Magdalenian period, which are currently being excavated.

As it does every year as part of the , the research team is opening the doors of the site on Saturday 15 June for three guided tours, at 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm.

This year, as part of an art/science initiative in partnership with the Musée Labenche, the visual artist François Lelong will be giving an exceptional presentation of his work Actéon, which has escaped from his exhibition in Brivé and will be displayed on the site!
